He pretty has his car money divided between a bet on the Cowboys to win by more than 1 at 100-107 odds (his 107 against their 100) and another bet for the Cowboys to win by 10 or more at 2.65-1 odds.

Looks like somebody didn't hear the story about the guy who (reportedly) bet $1.4 million at -12500 (so he would have won only $11,200) that the Chargers would bet the Jaguars after the Chargers had a 27-0 lead.

I bet basically at the start of the game(actually better payout because bucs had just got 3 and out and it was 0-0) and one of my bets pays +2.65x winnings for every dollar risked......so one of my bets here was a 1:1 and in the other I took the
significant underdog. So it is like
the complete opposite of that guy who took a huge favorite with a very small payout.

iow, a bet on the underdog here(in at least the second bet) and the underdog is going to win and cover that -10.

that's basically the juice. Because likewise the other side of that bet at the time was -109. And while your statement is techinically true(technically only -/+ 100 is even money), if you make your argument basically no bets are 'even money'. But we
all know that's not what the language is that is used.....every ATS game where you don't buy or sell points is still juiced in vegas on both sides to -110 I believe(which is why vegas in person bets are dumb). Even the now defunct 5dimes which had the
best 'reduced juice' plays available set them at -105.

When most people say 'even money', they are referring to a game where one isn't buying or selling points in one direction or another and the payout is basically the same regardless of what team is picked.

I can't believe someone did that. At the time watching the game I actually said to myself I wouldn't be shocked if the jags won. Because it was still early enough in the game that they could cut it
a little before halftime(and they did), and because they were at home(so the home crowd could get back into it), and also because they weren't clearly the inferior team overall, or if they were at least by a lot. A lot of times when a team gets up 27-0
it's a situation where the team up was heavily favored, making it much more unlikely the team down will come back.

And really once it got to 20 pts thats just 3 tds......very doable.

now did I log on and place an in game bet when it was 27-0 or even at halftime? I did not....lmao. I'll be honest about that. But my level of shock that the jags ended up winning that game wasn't very high.

I can't believe someone did that.

Happens a lot in horse racing - find a very heavy favorite in a small field and bet the house, the car, the boat, and whatever else you can lay your hands on, on the horse to show, because of the minimum 1-20 odds. It's called "bridge jumping" because of
what the bettor presumably does when the horse finishes fourth, especially if he's being chased by anybody who put reasonably big money on the actual winner to place, as there is so much money in the show pool that the winner paid more to show.

Welcome to the club! I’m a GM guy twice over. There’s my Chevy Volt, and then there’s the Chevy Malibu rental car I’m driving while my Volt sits in the shop waiting for a part that’s on a multi-month nationwide back order. Heartbeat of America baybee!

But at least GM is making me front the cost of the rental car and promises
to reimburse it after the repair to my car is finished! White glove

I must be the outlier here - the closest I've come to a GM car is a Saturn. So far, I've owned a Chrysler, two Fords (one with a Mazda-built engine), a Saturn, a Toyota, and currently a Mazda.

Just in researching the buying/ordering process for this car, my opinion of GM couldn't be any lower.

First, they don't seem to have actually done a decent job of producing the right number of this car to meet demand. On the blackwing forum people are waiting 10, 12, 15+ months after putting
in their order spec to a local dealer to get it(and some of those people are paying the dealer an ADM). No reason in the world they couldn't have pumped out another 12-1500 of this car if that was
the number to make things balanced.

Second, I know all about the supposed chip shortages, but what does that have to do with how they can't make the other proper options available. There are sport bucket seats with carbon fiber backs that are like an 8-9k option which everyone wants on
this car, and yet GM can't produce those. Do chips have anything to do with that?(I don't know but I would guess not....are chips required in carbon fiber?). Yet on options that *nobody* wants or ever asked for(like some silly recording device in the
car) basically 85% of the cars have that. And it's 1650 or so down the damn drain. Wouldn't surprise me if one has to wait a lot longer
if they spec an order without such nonsense lmao.....

Fourth, the dealer situation is pretty poor. I was doing a nationwide search, but just the snarkiness and attitude a lot of the dealers had with me(especially if they did have this car in stock) was ridiculous.
I wanted to say "dude, you are a GM dealer. GM. Just stop." Plus I'm still getting "can we interest you in our selection of CT5-V's on the lot now?" emails over a week later. Like NOBODY is cross shopping a CT5-V Blackwing and
CT5-V. If people are asking for the blackwing-5 they know what they want and are looking for......and it isn't a car with literally half the horsepower. Like it's fine if you didn't have the car I wanted or any way to
get one or your allocation is done, but don't bother me with all this other junk that nobody clearly wants.

    Booooooom!
    Boooooooooooooooom......

I'm winning both of these plays tonight, even that massively
lucrative POSITIVE TWO SIXTY FIVE play.....

initial post was a typo of course and should have been a plus. You >>>>>> don't sell points and then get a - attached in front lol.

I don't understand any of this.
Just understand that is was a HUGE night. Selling 8-9 pts like that on >>> a play and having it hit is bigtime......that's not a 'normal' win
    I pulled off last night.
Grate. Now go buy yourself a fancy car with your winnings.

for better or worse I'm a 'GM guy' for at least the next several months. If I don't like it I may order a new mclaren as the 'fun' car to go along
    with it and drive
weekends, but for now it's GM 7 days a
week.......and if you'll excuse me I have a Bob Seger concert to take it to tonight.(I actually don't, but damn if it
doesn't sound appropriate to pull a new GM up to a seger concert lmao)

Welcome to the club! I’m a GM guy twice over. There’s my Chevy Volt, and
then there’s the Chevy Malibu rental car I’m driving while my Volt sits in
the shop waiting for a part that’s on a multi-month nationwide back order.
    Heartbeat of America baybee!

But at least GM is making me front the cost of the rental car and promises to reimburse it after the repair to my car is finished! White glove treatment!

In GM's defense: multiple car companies, including Ford and Tesla, were delivering cars with missing parts and promising to provide them when the supply chain/chip situation improves.

And my friend has a Mercedes E-class that sat for nearly 8 months in 2021 waiting for a timing chain repair. It's not just GM, they are all affected. It's an industrywide problem. However since I am now personally affected, obviously my problem is the
worst and most urgent one out there!
