But don't the officials usually rig it FOR the playoff-bound teams???

So #3 and #4 both lose -- not really a question here, because it's Georgia and then everybody else.

With the SEC game about to kick:

    1. Georgia
    2. Michigan

And then any two of the following five in any real order:

    Ohio State
    USC
    TCU
    Alabama
    Tennessee

Case could be made to add Clemson to the list, perhaps even Penn State...

Kansas State, in a real pinch, may have played itself in!

I think I've got it up to nine teams which have at least a discussable, based on the conference title results and the last CFP rankings, even if Georgia and Michigan win today...

Utah and Kansas State were 10 and 11.
Penn State really only gets in the discussion because of those two at 8. Clemson plays tonight at 9.
Tennessee and Alabama are 6 and 7.
    Ohio State is 5.
TCU and USC are 3 and 4.

    For two spots.

    ----------------------

    If I were The Committee:

I think a lot of people are overhyping the Pac-12 to try to save the conference. Utah > USC anyway, USC is out.

    Tennessee > Alabama, Bama's out.

Ohio State > Penn State, Penn State is out.

K State > TCU. TCU out.

K State and Utah have three losses anyway, K State to Tulane, Utah to a 6-6 Florida. Definitely Utah out, and also probably K-State.

Ohio State, Tennessee, and Clemson if they win tonight -- if Clemson wins, they're IN, and then Ohio State and Tennessee, and the 25-point loss at South Carolina ends it -- Georgia, Michigan, Clemson, Ohio State.

    --------------------

    What I think happens:

Committee uses Best Four excuse to get both Alabama and Tennessee in and it's 3 SEC and Michigan.
