Is a 1-point TCU win over Baylor treated the same as, say, a 28-point win? I think some committee members are going to think long and hard about whether or not to keep TCU in the top four. (A Michigan loss would make the decision a little easier...)

(A Michigan loss would make the decision a little easier...)who would replace TCU? Tennessee? That 27-13 loss to Georgia was not as close as the score.

That's pretty much the eye test here.
And it's going to be a dilemma. I think it almost has to be accepted, at this point, Georgia is basically two touchdowns better than EVERYBODY right now.

FPI liked TCU's win over Baylor. It moved TCU from 16th to 15th. TCU
is still #1 in FPI's SOR rankings, though, which I still think is
better for placing playoff teams.
It was on the road at a decent team in conference. That certainly counts
for something.
With Tennesee's debacle in Columbia I see no impediments to TCU's
elevation presuming they win out (which is not as a big an if as it
was). In fact, they might make a 2 seed or even a one if Georgia craps
the bed in Atlanta and tOSU loses.
