The Alabama Crimson Shit Kickers lucked out and
squeaked by Texas 20-19. Last week Ohio State
beat #5 Notre Dame 21-10, and today they beat
Arkansas State 45-12. No question Ohio State
should be ranked #1 in the country. But, given
the usual SEC Conference bull crap, they'll no doubt
keep Sabin and the Crimson Shit Kickers on top.

and with Georgia settling for field goals vs Samford, that's really bad news for Oregon. I can see missing a bowl game. 5-7? 4-8?

Don't be ridiculous...NOTBCS and NOTCFP rankings don't start coming out until next week. (That is because it is when it will be possible to connect any FBS team to any other FBS team through a chain of FBS opponents in games played up to that point.)

Oh, you mean those Coaches and AP things? Did you know the CFP Committee is "supposed to" ignore those? (Seriously, the CFP guidelines say that polls that include a preseason ranking are to be ignored. Ironically, those are also the only two polls the
NCAA uses when deciding who is allowed to get FBS football championship rings.) Besides, to be fair, Alabama beat a ranked team on the road.

Notre Dame is currently losing to Marshall at halftime. What do you think that does to Ohio State's win last week?

Yeah, 11 point wins over Notre Dame don't seem to be anything special after today.

Well, I guess Notre Dame cut it to 5 before I posted that.

Is that the rumble of the Thundering Herd I hear?

Looks like 18 coaches switched from Alabama to Georgia (and one from Ohio State to Georgia as well).

Based on the coaches' poll, the Extremely Way Too Early CFP Bowl Projections are:
    Peach: Alabama - Clemson
    Fiesta: Georgia - Ohio State
    Rose: Michigan - USC
    Sugar: Kentucky - Oklahoma
Orange: North Carolina State - Michigan State
    Cotton: Oklahoma State - Cincinnati

I'm sure you're right. It's confusing, isn't it, that Alabama could have beaten OSU 4 out of 5 times, and in important games, no less.
It's even more confusing when you realize Alabama plays such a cupcake schedule while OSU plays such powerhouses as
Akron, Tulsa, Toledo, Arkansas State, Florida Atlantic, Tulane, UNLV, etc. not to mention Maryland and Rutgers every yearto
toughen them up for big games. It's just unfair that Alabama has 13 "AP" championships and OSU only has 5, (sadly a team dear to me only has 2).
It would be nice im Michgan dumped Harbaugh, got a decent coach, and provided some competition in conference for a change.

Meanwhile, in the AP poll, 35 switched #1 from Alabama (and one from Ohio State) to Georgia, moving Georgia up to #1.

And OSU doesn't play cupcakes? Arkansas State, Toledo, Rutgers, MD, IN?
By the end of the year ND might be considered a cupcake.
