• Buckeyes Win!

From Irish Mike@21:1/5 to All on Sun Sep 4 09:10:46 2022
The #2 Ohio State Buckeyes beat #5 Notre Dame in
their season opener, 21-10. But it wasn't pretty and
ND led 10-7 at the Half. ND's Head Coach,
Marcus Freeman, is a former Ohio State player and is
doing a great job. His Assistant Coach, James Laurinaitis,
is also a former Ohio State player.

So I'm glad OSU won but I'll be rooting for ND, for the
    rest of the season.

    Irish Mike

P.S. And may I take this opportunity to wish defeat and
bad luck for the one college football team I dislike
the most. Greasy Nick Sabin & the Crimson Shit Kickers!
And their pick-up trucks and their cup cake schedule!
There, I said it and I'm glad!

The Crimson Shit Kickers opened at home against Utah State
and beat them 55-0. A real nail-biter by Alabama cup cake standards!

After so big of a win over Oregon, Georgia basically permanently buried the program, though -- is that gonna be enough this season?

One game does not a season make. Alabama's next game is Texas. OSU's next game is Arkansas State follwed next by Toledo.

I might also add Alabama is playing Texas at Texas while OSU played ND at home, a big advantage and possibly the reason why OSU has EIGHT home games on their schedule.

BTW, per capita, there's not much difference in the number if pickups between Ohio and Alabama. In
absolute number of pickups, Ohio wins.

Yes, many opinions around. However, the BleacherReport is operated by a highly competent professional and his very authoritative
opinion is in conflct with that of the amateurish James Parks.

BTW, it is interesting to look at the two Facebooks pages. BleacherReport has 8,771,762 likes and 10,407,488 followers. Park's
College Football HQ has 1300 likes and 0 followers. Kind of says something, doesn't ir?

BTW, Sports illustrated is no longer the magazine we all loved. It now has different owners and it is considered a brand to be milked
by it's current owners. The print mag is down to a monthly and the brand is expanding into other fields.
