    Making one of those isn't clever. It marks the maker as some sort of schmuck (New York word I picked up in my youth).

    To me the video speaks to the left's obsession with a idealized fantasy future that doesn't address today's problem. No one wants to kill a mountain lion but problem of the here and now needs to be addressed for safety's sake. That would be a perfect

    Pretty much the case. A tranquilizer rifle can't hit a bear at 150', a mountain lion 70'.
    A trained officer can hit a quarter at that distance.

    Dr. Sowell seems to be much more aware of tranquizer guns and their limitations than the average liberal.
    1) They are not accurate 2) They take about 3 minutes minimum to work and if the animal is agitated or angry it can take
    half an hour or the animal can even shake the tranquilizer off. During that time the animal is hurt and pissed and definitely angry.

    People get mad over wildlife being shot in jurisdictions of many political >leanings.

    No one wants to choose to kill if there is a safe option.

    Here's what the Fish and Game said " using it would not have been a safe option given the surroundings and the time it takes tranquilizers to work."

    BTW, this video was made by someone reading from a Dr. Sowell book written 18 years ago. The Californians of that time are geniuses by comparison
    to the Californians of today.
