Filled the tank $80 ~15 gallons
Gillette razors $18
12 Pack Squirt $9
I yam olde. The only item that I can "enjoy" is the Squirt, at that makes me fat(ter).
I told my three children, years ago, if I start complaining about gas prices and discuss where to purchase the cheapest, they can kill or commit me.
On a positive fiscal note, I went through my piles of tools and hardware and took back any unopened package to Lowes. $78. Gave it right back of course.

no, on 2nd thought, I mean we spent $96. Or something like that. Anyway, it saved us a lot of money 'cause we went (still do) a long way on each gallon. What kind of mileage do you get?

Well if Biden and the Democrats stay in power, you
will have three choices:
1. a gallon of gas.
2. a White Castle slider
3. a down payment on a six pack of beer

Upgraded my Prius to a Chevy Volt in 2020. Now I only buy gas for road trips. It’s a best of both worlds car IMO. Like many Volt fanboys I can’t
figure out why PHEVs aren’t more popular. They really seem to hit the sweet
spot.

I wonder why they haven't made them Diesel.

I don’t think they’ve figured how to make Diesel engines start and stop smoothly in step with the battery power. Several years ago on a business trip I rode with a colleague in Copenhagen in a diesel Golf that had a
start and stop engine. That thing was rough!
Also one of the advantages that battery drive gives you, strong low-end torque, diesels already have. So maybe battery and diesel drive don’t complement each other that well?

They do in diesel electric locomotives.
