If I tell her that a moment is intrinsically quick, AITAH?

This same individual uses the OK hand sign emoji, which confuses me, since she is a black person and wouldn't want to use that one? Maybe it's a statement...

I'd leave it alone. NBD. Sounds southern or rural to me.

The first time someone sent me a thumbs up emoji, at first glance, I thought it might have been a middle finger, which suggests a much different meaning than a thumb.

I've never used an emoji. Never.

The one I'm getting tired of is "well, the thing is...."

I do a lot of math, so I have no issues with using a simple symbol to represent lots of words when communicating in certain situations. The aforementioned thumbs up emoji can be a succinc yet friendly way to end an on going text conversation. The eyes
emoji can be a great response if you’re ever lucky enough to get a naughty selfie from a lady friend. Or, if you’re feeling especially risqué, the eyes emoji followed by the eggplant emoji.
We use the eyes emoji at work constantly.

The one I’ve heard a lot of lately, and caught myself using, is “Like I said,…”
