I just tried several games with my four word twenty letter opening, I won
in five every time except for one six guesser.

Because Absurdle doesn’t start with a secret word and instead reacts to
your guesses, you have to change starting words to get a new game. So I don’t quite get what you’re saying here.

Each game I started with Brand Weigh Flock Stump. Then almost every time I get it right with the next (fifth) guess. Once in a blue moon I needed a sixth guess. Same strategy I use for quordle/octordle/Sedecordle and would use if I played Wordle in easy
    mode.

I don't think I'd do well in hard mode but the 3 words, 15 letters technique works ok

Same strategy I use for quordle/octordle/Sedecordle and would use if I played Wordle in
    easy mode.
Almost every game is like this…

So, I tried your strategy with words in this order: brand stump weigh flock. And I tried it 3 times in a row, and the answer was civic every time. I think that's what xyzzy is getting at.

Switching the order of the four words will lead to a different solution, but as you noted, one particular order will lead to a very limited number of possible solutions after the fourth guess. I think this illustrates why this is an effective strategy
for the other -dle games, if the goal is to maximize winning percentage without relying on guessing.

yes, interesting. I've played three times, starting with train-hosed-clump and each time the "answer" turned out to be a variation of -ully. Bully, gully, fully.
