To get to 5 sets of 5, you need a word with y as the only vowel such as tryst but with no repeated consonants. Yacht uses the y too early because it's mixed with a vowel.

I can get to four words too. I use BRAND STUMP WEIGH FLOCK to start quordle, octordle, etc, but I would love to be able to extend it to starting with 5 words using 25 letters, if it’s possible.

I can get to four words too. I use BRAND STUMP WEIGH FLOCK to start
quordle, octordle, etc, but I would love to be able to extend it to
starting with 5 words using 25 letters, if it’s possible.

With Wordle economy of guesses is more important IMO. You only have one
word to get and fewer guesses. I start with RAISE and YOUTH to get all
vowels (including “sometimes Y”) and the most common consonants. I will deviate from that pattern if RAISE gives me enough to go on to try
something else, but that’s usually my pattern.

With Quordle I use the same two starting words and usually solve it in 7 or
8, I did get one in 6 that was pretty sweet.

Any one of the T H S L N M eliminates too many words, yacht was the best option.

There is a wordle website that eliminates words based on letters used. I
spent a few hours this morning trying all kinds of combinations. Using
yacht left the most words still available. Not saying it cant be done
but those 4 were best I could come up with.
