    College basketball, the next stoppage every four minutes.

    That timeout is "free" to both sides.

    If that was the case, no way VT bested them for the ACC title. Or Carolina beats them in the season finale.

    And it was UNLV..the 2nd of the 3 Final Four championships I was able to attend.

    I am actually genuinely surprised, especially with how ESPN covered it, that Carolina won that latter game, yes.

    That said, I don't think they're taking any chances here. That Duke already got this far is probably indicative of tampering, with those two games you give as evidence.

    They aren't that good and never were this year. So something else is going on.
