• Loudmouth Parents 1, Officials 0?

The national high school football rules committee announced that it is changing the high school football rules to include the "QB can ground the ball outside of the tackle box without it being called intentional grounding" rule.

Why do I have the feeling the main reason they did this is, too many officials got tired of parents screaming, "HE WAS OUTSIDE OF THE TACKLE BOX!," whenever they called this?

Probably not for that reason -- you'll be hearing it MORE now.

It's for the same reason the rule has been in force in the other levels -- player safety.
