    I know it’s a rebuilding year with a new coach, but #11 and behind Duke and Wake is a tough pill to swallow. At least I can take consolation that UVA
    is last I guess.

    There's a major article on espn.com right now about what happened at VaTech. The thing that I don't quite get from that article - most of the blame seems to be aimed at Fuente, but when they discuss not recruiting at Michael Vick's high school, if I did
    my math right, that goes back to the last few years of Beamer.

    I read the article this afternoon too, it wasn’t that well structured. But the message I got about Fuente was that he was a victim of institutional dysfunction and too many powerful people in the athletic department who couldn’t or wouldn’t move on from Beamer. I don’t see that as blaming Fuente.
