• "2/3 of all NIL collective money goes to men's sports"

I have seen a number of reports claiming this.

    Given that:
    (a) The vast majority of NIL collectives exist to get and/or keep top athletes at particular schools, and
    (b) The only sports where this seriously matters are football and men's basketball ("yeah, but, but, Livvy Dunne makes more NIL money than anyone except Bronny" - perhaps, but she's an outlier, and besides, by that thinking, there's no NIL money in
    football),
my take on this statement is:

    2/3? Is that all?

2/3 to men's sports and 1/3 to Livvy Dunne.

2/3 to men's sports and 1/3 to Livvy Dunne.

Actually, 2/3 to Bronny and 1/3 to Livvy Dunne is closer to the truth - apparently, he gets $6.8 million, and she currently gets about half of that.
