    I live near a Chevy dealer so I’m always seeing new Vettes coming and
    going. Didn’t realize they were that expensive.

    Yes, for what it delivers it is cheap. Too bad they're so much. I'd
    love to have a Z06. A friend has one that's a couple years old. At the
    drags he's running in the high tens. Finishes well in autocross, too.

    That sentence can be read to mean something I didn't intend.
    I mean that I have bought used cars and trucks, with the exception of when I bought a new Honda Civic hatchback when I graduated from college.
