    3) Putting religion into politics and attempting to impose religious principles is a centerpiece of much of American life. Many believe it not only against their religion (and, hence, against the 1st Amendment) to allow other Gods to exist (making the
Constitution a material blasphemy to those practicing monotheism), but also to allow other conduct to exist which would only "offend God" and not impact them in any other way (LGBTQ, the views on women and Blacks before their rights were imposed on the
White American Male over time in American history, etc.).

Many see religion in politics as a very GOOD THING.

This is not meant with my normal venom toward what you are saying, but it's more a:

What's the difference between a lot of the things the White Right opposes in this "War on Woke" and simple Christian ethics?

Where's the line which makes it "radicalism"?

Now, I believe we are long past it: There are people suing, under the First Amendment, that their school is teaching empathy (and, ostensibly, also trying to enforce it), seeing empathy as acceptance of sin.

You wouldn't want my religion imposed and neither would I. I believe in
live and let live unless given reason and circumstance to be otherwise.
I wouldn't say that government needs to be atheist, but that it needs to
    be a tolerant agnostic.

You can't support the Republicans and believe that line, that's the problem.

The fact that imposed religion is a part of their platform is being done for a number of very serious reasons.

It's their unwillingness to actually put on the Armor of God and start what is necessary to be done (Nahum 1:2 -- For the Lord Our God is a vengeful God, or words to that effect) to get there.

It can even be said that people like myself are not only a threat to their Earthly life, but their eternal one as well.
