• picking up 3k tonight......

From michael anderson@21:1/5 to All on Thu Jun 1 15:55:56 2023
Wagering enough(it's -360, do the math lol) to pocket about 3k in profit.

    Denver ML

Hell I'll throw 1500 on Denver -8.5 as well......

As an aside I asked my nephew(11yo) what he wants for his birthday and I expected him to name a specific video game I could buy him or whatever. No....lol. He names some yamaha dirt bike and then says "don't worry, my mom already got it for me from you
so you don't have to remember; we're picking it up monday".......

like wtf......anyone know how much a new yamaha dirtbike for an 11-12 yo goes for? ttre or something is the name. Shit I guess I'll find out.....hopefully tonight will pay for it lol.....

As another aside, do kids that age not make the connection that their uncle and mom likely grew up together(if on the same side of family?)

He's telling me this story yesterday about how his grandma wasn't much of a cook so she would let his mom get fast food a lot when they were growing up(hes telling this story because he was upset we didn't all go to chic fil-a for dinner), and I'm like "
yeah buddy, I was kinda there....."

    maybe it's just him lol

Unfortunately not a lot of time to fit therapy patients in, so no I don't do any therapy these days.

He needs to buy appropriate protective gear. I suggest Bell Helmets
    with Snell certification.

my mom was a single mom and she taught middle school and then high school math, so she was very grounded and practical and money wasn't unlimited for her, me and my sister. She was always very good
with money and it always felt like we had everything we needed/wanted. Which i think is a good way to grow up because you learn things
like mclarens, ferraris, oceanfront properties aren't really needed to feel secure and happy. Whereas several people I know now have these things and they are always complaining about things like that their oceanfront property is on the other side of
the road(even if there isn't another property between it and the ocean....I understand the complaint if another house was in the way to somewhat block the view).........and in the end those are not the things that matter.
