    Deer Bruce you incredible moron,

The law didn't go far enough. The law should DEMAND that all cell phones used by children have a PERMANENT UNALTERABLE CHILD BIRTH DATE set on them so they get filtered out before they even get to a porn site.

I give at least two problems with that:

    1) Falsification of the process (who's actually using the phone).

    2) I'd think, given the political reality of the state of Utah, it'd be Utah cutting off PornHub, rather than the other way around. I'd think the Mormons would actually WELCOME this move.

The law didn't go far enough. The law should DEMAND that all cell phones used by children have a PERMANENT UNALTERABLE CHILD BIRTH DATE set on them so they get filtered out before they even get to a porn site.

    List of problems:

    1. Nothing on a cellphone is "permanent and unalterable" if you have any idea what you are doing.

    2. What makes you think the porn site is in the USA, as if it is not, whoever runs the site won't care what the age of the user is? If you expect the cell service carrier to check to see if every site searched is a porn site, you underestimate the
ability of the sites to stay one step ahead of the list updaters.

    3. As has already been pointed out, what stops a child from using a phone with someone else's birth date on it?

I live in Louisiana. I gave up pron. Yes, I know I could get anonymous access through other means but chose to just do without. So far so good.
