A Facebook ‘Friend’ posted the other day on my ‘Timeline’. He had a “chat” with an AI chatbot named ChatGPT by Open AI. I checked it out.
I also checked out another chatbot, the one included now in the Bing
search engine. The latter works only in the Edge browser… of course!
I tested the AI chatbots on ‘Ion Saliu’ and ‘Sports Betting Prediction’. I repeated my queries, as some answers contained
inaccurate information. I compared the two AI algorithms.

“Hello! How can I help you?”
“Who is Ion Saliu?”
“Ion Saliu is a Romanian-American author, philosopher, and
mathematician who is best known for his work in gambling theory and probability theory. He created the concept of the Fundamental Formula
of Gambling and has published several books on the subject, including "Probability Theory, Live!" and "Axiomatic Theory of Probability".
Saliu is also known for his philosophical writings on topics such as
free will and determinism, and he has published several books on
these subjects as well.”

Microsoft Bing is now more than a search engine. It is an AI chatbot.
It works only in the Edge browser. It appears to be more accurate
than most AI chatbots.
“Ion Saliu is a Romanian refugee who arrived in the USA in 1985 at
the age of 35 and settled in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. He is known
for his ideas in philosophy, mathematics, science, software, lottery,
and gambling.
According to his website, Ion Saliu has made several achievements. He
claims to be the fastest human in history to write his first 1000 web
pages and his first 500 computer programs. He also made a
mathematical discovery that should have been made 300 years ago,
which he calls Ion Saliu's Paradox of N Trials. He also claims to
have found the correct philosophical, logical, and mathematical
solutions to the paradoxes of Sophist Zeno of Elea. Additionally, he discovered repeat cycles in probabilistic events, which he
incorporated into a computer software algorithm.
Parpaluck is an alias for Ion Saliu, who is an author and sells
varied gambling books and software1. He has a website where he shares
his work on lottery mathematics and lotto programming science.
Ion Saliu (a.k.a. Parpaluck) has many ideas and theories in various
fields such as philosophy, mathematics, science, software, lottery,
and gambling. He has a website where he shares his work and ideas1.
Some of his ideas on lotto include tracking the “skips” of the
numbers (number of draws between occurrence), median of skips (Skip
Median), multi-layered filters to exclude less likely numbers.
Ion Saliu has written software for lottery, lotto, horse racing,
blackjack, roulette, baccarat, sports betting, gambling, probability,
odds, statistics, mathematics and editing. One of his most well-known software is MDIEditor Lotto, which is the first ever lottery strategy
with dedicated lotto software. MDIEditor Lotto is a powerful suite of
a text editor and lottery number generator.
There are some positive reviews of Ion Saliu’s software. For example,
one user on G NETWORK claims to have won the 5 number prize 7 times
and many smaller prizes using Ion Saliu’s method. Another user on
Lottery Post claims that his software relegates all other lottery
software into the trash can. However, it is important to note that
individual results may vary and there is no guarantee of success when
using his software.
Ion Saliu is a controversial figure in the gambling world, with some
critics questioning the effectiveness of his methods and others
lauding his contributions to the field. Saliu's work has been the
subject of some controversy, as his methods have been criticized by
some as being overly complicated or difficult to understand. However,
his software programs and books have been widely used by gamblers and researchers alike, and he remains a prominent figure in the world of
gambling theory and analysis.”

Axiomatics, I also tested ChatGPT on ‘sports betting prediction’.

ChatGPT
“I'm sorry, as an AI language model, I am not capable of predicting
sports outcomes or offering any form of gambling advice. It's important
to remember that sports betting involves a high degree of risk and
should be done responsibly. It's always best to make informed decisions
and consider the odds and statistics before placing any bets.
Ion Saliu is a software engineer, author, and philosopher who has
developed a number of software programs related to sports betting and >gambling. His software programs and theories have been the subject of
much debate and criticism within the gambling community.
One of Saliu's most well-known contributions to sports betting is his
theory of probability and his creation of a mathematical formula called
the Fundamental Formula of Gambling (FFG). This formula is designed to
help gamblers calculate the odds of a particular event occurring, such
as the outcome of a sporting event.
Saliu's approach to sports betting prediction involves the use of
complex algorithms and statistical models to analyze past performance
and predict future outcomes. While some bettors have reported success
using Saliu's methods, others have criticized them for being too
complicated or not reliable enough.
It's important to remember that sports betting is a form of gambling and >always carries a degree of risk. While mathematical models and
statistical analysis can help inform betting decisions, they can never >guarantee a particular outcome. As with any form of gambling, it's
important to bet responsibly and only with money that you can afford to >lose.”

“Ion Saliu is a programmer who has developed sports betting software
and betting systems. He has a website where he offers his software for >download. According to his website, his sports betting strategy is based
on past results of teams and percentages (1 >https://saliu.com/sports_betting.html). He also offers Excel
spreadsheets that apply macros to automate the procedures to a good
extent (2 https://saliu.com/sports_betting.html ).
According to Ion Saliu’s website, his sports betting strategy is based
on past results of teams and percentages. He has developed a system for >playing soccer pools 1x2 and believes that the best sport betting
strategy is based on past results of teams. He also offers Excel
spreadsheets that apply macros to automate the procedures to a good
extent .
For example, in an abbreviated version of his system applied to American >football (specifically the NFL), he suggests keeping records for each
team, separated into two files (spreadsheets): record at home and record
on the road. Using the overall records has much lower relevance. You
will work with these two very important elements: Home Team At-Home and >Visiting Team On-The-Road. In this abbreviated version, you will use
only the results (win or loss) and the points scored or allowed. He
provides detailed instructions on how to calculate percentages and make >predictions based on these percentages.
According to Ion Saliu’s website, his sports betting Excel
spreadsheets win 2 of 3 football games in NFL. The winning percentage is >higher in picking straight winners than applied to point spread betting
ATS (1 https://saliu.com/football.html ). He claims that the success >(performance) rate of his SPORTS.XLS Excel spreadsheet for sports
betting is around 2 out of 3. Actually, it is higher at picking straight >winners or pick 'em. It can still hit at least 60% when applied to point >spread betting, as in American football.”
