(The implication is that Jesper was referring not just to me picking
Cercle Brugge, hence devoiding him of the chance to be represented by
AGF, but also to me designing the rule that theoretically gave him [and anyone else] the chance to being represented by his favourite club. "Theoretically", as, in order to have that chance, (1) you have to
finish exactly 2nd out of 8-16 people [this gives you the option to pick
the league in which your club plays], (2) your club has to play a
balanced enough match, which depending on the club may be a very rare occurrence [this makes the gamemaster include the match in the
matchday],
(3) the match involving your club has to be randomly
associated to your UPT match, and (4) your opponent must pick your club opponents [the last two events may seem not improbable, but together
they reduce by 75% your already slim chances after the first two
events]. And, of course, step #4 loops back to me picking Cercle Brugge, which makes you understand how complexly evil this plan would have
been... if I were evil, I mean.)
