• USA to host the 2024 Copa America

Ecuador "declined to host the tournament." Peru were interested in hosting it. But "thanks to CONCACAF and CONMEBOL's new strategic partnership the United States would host the tournament with six CONCACAF teams qualifying through the 2023–24 CONCACAF
    Nations League."

What's a strategic partnership? And I might as well ask the obvious question: Isn't this supposed to be the Championship of South America?

Never thought I would see the day that Kanada wins the Copa America, what a time to be alive!

Indeed, but the Copa America has a history of inviting guest teams and this will presumably give the three United 2026 hosts valuable experience of competitive football.

Nothing that we haven't seen in 2016.

    South America?

Yeah especially when Qatar participated four years ago.

    Ciao,
