Well, at least the title challenge lasted an entire week :-)

I still see Liverpool and Chelsea mid-table, and Arsenal and Man United
    top-4.

Well yes, Liverpool is in tatters right now. It's been a 1-2-3 punch of never-ending injuries, psychological/physical burnout from last season's quadruple chase, and lack of investment in the squad for years catching up with the team. In midfield
especially, where Thiago has been the only major signing in 4 years. The only glimmer of hope is that we underwent a similar crisis 2 seasons ago, but Klopp fixed enough things that we were able to make a late surge and secure top 4.

The bigger challenge this time is that there are 4 very settled teams in the top 4 right now, and the gap is 10 points. So it's going to be very very hard.

As for United, they have been on a streaky run, as they did once under Mourinho and twice under Solksjaer. I'd wait a little longer before popping the champagne on the good times retuning. ETH has definitely restored some belief and discipline, but in
big games he reminds me too much of Solksjaer, sitting back and look for counters (through mainly Rashford and Fernandes). Time will tell. Organizing a billion pound squad to push for top 4 is pretty low hanging fruit.....tougher tests await.
