• [R] Oh my God, what was that by the ref in the Newcastle-Chelsea match?

From Michael Falkner@21:1/5 to All on Sat Nov 12 11:35:12 2022
At least the FA will have the World Cup break to investigate that shitfest between Newcastle and Chelsea and the fool which refereed it.

3 red cards missed, at least (sub violently interferes with the throw late in stoppage and only sees yellow, an elbow to the back of the head off the ball, and a third I forgot from earlier in the second half).

The goal was marginally offside and not checked.

By the time the match was ending, the hackfest had begun, the referee shoves off at least one player, and the match ends with a mass skirmish.

Ref lost the plot, and he was lucky it wasn't much worse!

That was my bad. I actually thought I was going to state Newcastle won 1-0.

Based on what i have seen of Chelsea lately, I would say ER- Expected Result. I assume the new Nerd Coach will soon be the old nerd coach. They really shoulda kept the other old nerd coach, at least they won some trophies with him. They look more broken
now than they did earlier this season.
