So the east is decided, the west will be decided in a couple of hours.Philadelphia get the by in the east and Montreal finish second, then I think two teams from New York, Miami and I forget who else.

Vancouver need to beat Minnesota and hope for Salt Lake to lose or draw, those creepy Mormons play Portalnd, who are actually quite cool people as far as Americans go, they actually, kinda have something to play for too, as I think they can get home
field advantage for the play offs with a win, so Vancouver may make it if they win.

Disappointing from Vancouver. If they are going to lose , they could at
least play more Canadians (like TFC). Montreal has done very well this
year. They had 6 Canadians starting today's game, and Miller and A.
Johnston have been very good for club and country. Waterman, who was
with Cavalry a few years back, has also had a great season and might
have a claim to a WC squad spot (instead of Doneil Henry for one !)

Meanwhile in the Canadian Premier league, which was hard fought to the
very end in terms of determing playoff ranking, Atletico (yes, I cringe
every time) finished first in the regular season, followed in order by
Hamilto Forge, Cavalry FC (Calgary area) and defending champions Pacific
    FC (Victoria area)

    Playoffs are two legged affairs

Cavalry - Forge and Pacific - Atletico on October 15

    reverse fixtures on October 23.

Final (Single leg at home of highest seeded team)

    October 29th

Have you ever got out to an Atletico game ? Cavalry playing way out in
Spruce Meadows, plus covid and work, have prevented me from taking in
anything except the occasional bit on TV.
