Lübeck - Rostock 1-0. Proper Baltic Hansa Derby.
Elversberg - Leverkusen 4-3
Stuttgarter Kickers - Fürth 2-0. Kickers play in Oberliga Baden-Württemberg -
one of 14(!) 5th level leagues. In this round Karlsruhe and Paderborn recorded 8-0 and 10-0 wins against opponents of a similar stature. Gladbach won 9-1 against another Oberliga Baden-Württemberg team.
Braunschweig - Hertha 4-4, Braunschweig on penalties.
This round had 3 matches going to penalties - all won by the lower ranked team. It usually the other way around.
