That's really impressive. If Transfermarkt is to be believed, the Bayern match is going to be his 600th game in charge?
Schmidt's very first match as Heidenheim coach was in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg against Normannia Gmünd,
back then managed by Alexander Zorniger. Zorniger is coaching Greuther Fürth at the moment, which is his eighth job since then.

Also, I'm sure they must have mentioned that a lot of times already in the media, but I had missed the fact that as a player
he was on the pitch for 90 minutes when Vestenbergsgreuth famously defeated Trapattoni's Bayern in the German Cup.
