Most of the USA's best players seem to have been midfielders, so I ended up going for a 4-2-3-1 formation. Most of their best midfielders seem to be quite attack minded players though, so I'm a bit unsure about my choice of the 2 more defensive
midfielders. And I couldn't leave out Mia Hamm or Abby Wambach (it's bad enough having to leave out Briana Scurry or Hope Solo), so as Mia Hamm can play midfield I've put her as an attacking midfielder, although as far as I can tell, she never played for
the USA as a midfielder.
I've picked the team based mostly on what I've read about the players in Wikipedia.
