New and improved rules this year!
You have 10 points which you can allocate to as many coaches as you want from the English Premier League, Italian Serie A, German Bundesliga, Spanish Liga, and French Ligue 1.
Maximum 3 points per coach, decimal points allowed.
Any coach that you nominated and gets sacked (or resigns, voluntarily or not) before December 31, you get the points, BUT there is a twist!
- A coach sacked by a team participating in this year's Champions League group stage: your points are multiplied by 3
- A coach sacked by a team participating in this year's Europa League or Conference League group stage: your points are multiplied by 2
- Any other team: your points are multiplied by 1
Deadline: Friday September 15.

I really don't want to go full Mark here, but Ligue 1 has currently fallen out of the Top 5 in the UEFA ranking, and it might well
stay that way until the end of the season which would mean that the extra spot in the re-vamped Champions League that the
French lobbied so hard for will go to the Netherlands instead.
- Any other team: your points are multiplied by 1
Deadline: Friday September 15.This is an additional dilemma in this insidious game - wait until the end of the deadline to gather more information, or risk
that the most obvious picks will have already been sacked?
I'm also waiting. There won't be any further league matches until the deadline (OK, there will be some Friday matches...), so it's likely that any sackings should have happened already.

Even though it's not officially confirmed ("According to RMC Sport, the Cévénol will leave the Gones bench as soon as a replacement is found"), so I guess one could still pick him, but that wouldn't be very nice.
0.5 points (multiplied by 1) for MH.
So which of the following out of work coaches is going to get hired

Antonio Conte
Christophe Galthier
Julen Lopetegui
Giovanni Van BronckhorstDon't know.
Laurent BlancCan't see him get back in action very soon.
Ralph Hasenhüttl
Julian Nagelsman
Frank LampardFallen from grace. I don't see him getting a PL job any time soon.
Graham PotterMaybe the first struggling bottom-half PL side that needs a shake-up.
I am sure the list could be added to.
I could see Galthier going to Lyon very soon. Speculation I read,
however, included Bruno Lage, and Graham Potter. Both have said "no

Are you? I thought you'd be more surprised that Mauricio Pochettino
is still at Chelsea after your post here the other day!

Heckingbottom (Sheffield U) about to be sacked, that would be points for Blueshirt and me. MH also got a point for Aristouy (Nantes). However, we all missed the Genesio (Rennes) two-pointer.

Heckingbottom gone. Points for Blueshirt (3!) and me.
Sorry, Blueshirt had only allocated 2 points to Heckingbottom. Correct standings:

Yes. I think that should seal it for you, but let's wait for
December 31 before announcing the final results.
Two years ago Monaco sacked Niko Kovač, a Futbolmetrix pick, on New Year's Eve, a couple of hours before the deadline.

Pioli's position at Milan looks shaky, but I don't think anybody had him.
Mourinho’s sacking doesn’t exactly come as a surprise, but unfortunately too late for the purposes of this game.

It also wouldn't have changed anything at the top of the RSSCSC
standings. I only had 0.5 on Mou, so even the 2x bonus would not
have been enough to get into second place. Werner would have
leapfrogged MH in 4th place.
So, time to announce the final results of the 2023 RSSCSC:
Vulture Points Correct Picks
Blueshirt 13 Mendilibar 3(x3), Baumgart 2, Heckingbottom 2
Real Mardin 11 Mendilibar 3(x3), Cooper 2
Futbolmetrix 9.5 Mendilibar 2(x3), Zanetti 2, Sottil 1,
Heckingbottom 0.5 MH 3.5 Blanc 0.5, Aristouy 1, Svensson 1, Moreno 1 Alkamista 3 Mendilibar 1 (x3)
Werner 3 Mendilibar 1 (x3)
Binder 1 Svensson 1
Congrats Blueshirt, the 2023 RSSCSC Champion!

This game's lost all it's prestige now though without the reigning champion playing in it,
and without including the Argentinian and Brazilian Leagues..
