    I can answer this now. Italy and Germany start this coming weekend. All the other top European Leagues started at the weekend just gone.

    Also the Uruguayan Clausura Championship starts this coming weekend; and so does the Copa de la Liga in Argentina.

    Well the Clausura Championship is the 2nd half of the season. Then the Apertura Champions play the Clausura Champions in the semi-final, and the winners of that play the team that ends top of the aggregate table to decide the Championship.
