My first post here. Found this nice place long time ago but never joined, only to copy/paste Gaborzinho' s posts and collect it at one place named xtratime.
Shortly about my motive : joined world of online forums in October 2002 (after Slovakia x England qualifier), and spent 3 years on a forum that disappeared
meantime. I was affraid that rec.sports.soccer might meet the same destiny, thats why I decided to copy/paste some of Gaborzinhos memories he posted here
between 1996-2006. His memories could easily fill a book. Unfortunately, found out about the old man too late so I couldnt interact with him. He vanished from
the forums here in 2006, but kept posting on index.hu till August 2008. Since he was born in 1931 he would be 92 now which is unlikely, especially after he
mentioned his battle with cancer. Wish I were wrong, would love to greet old man, virtually shake his hand and express my gratitude for all the wonderfull
memories, rants and gossips he shared online. He bid here many farewells to the legends of a football that were gone, so I wanted to bid my farewell to a the
man, the myth, the legend, Gaborzinho. This month its 15 years after he disappeared from online world. Long gone but not forgotten.

diggings in past, about Kubala f.e. which led me here in 2012, thanks to these threads I was in touch with several relatives or friends of Kubala's former team mates.
