Not a great performance, but not bad either. Two good goals. Davies
came on in the 62nd minute, scored in the 69th.

There. There's your red cards flying.

A USA-Mexico match broke out. Half a dozen, at least, yellows. Four reds. Two each.

Game stopped due to homophobic chants.

    Tres a cero, Estados Unidos.

USA without McKennie and another player for the final with Canada.

Maybe Man U-Liverpool, but I don't think any match ever got ABANDONED.

CONCACAF won't admit it, nor will the news, nor will FIFA, but the homophobic chants finally got a major Mexico match ABANDONED last night.

Abandoned with four minutes of stoppage time left after the first stoppage didn't take hold.

Throw. Mexico. Out. This is going to mean rescheduling and reshuffling some matches in 2026 for the World Cup, but it's the only way you're not going to have this entire situation stained.

The only other option: Find a completely new site.

    Substitue Mexico with Can/USA sites.

That was my first thought, but there's no assurance that any American site would work either. Can you hold the entire tournament in Canada?

Remember: Last night's disgrace was in Las Vegas.

There have been some very unfortunate comments on this thread.

Whatever happened at the Mexico - USA game once those responsible are disciplined the two sides then need to put their differences apart and focus on hosting the best World Cup ever in 2026.

    It's called UNITED 2026 for a reason.

    Vancouver, Edonton, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal,

Could add in Winnipeg, Ottawa, and Hamilton at a pinch.
Would cost some money for upgrades, but the basic infrastructure is there.

Seattle, minneapolis, Washington DC, Chicago, Green Bay,
New York, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia ,

There is no shortage of large stadia in the states. Many college
footbal teams have facilities that accommodate enough fans (and actually
have grass fields in some cases, I think). All NFL stadia could be
    options as well.
