HT scores:
UEL
Sevilla - Juve 0-0 (agg. 1-1)
Sevilla with most of the ball and some good chances, a couple of brilliant saves by Szczeszny, but Juve has been dangerous on the other end too. Di Maria wasted the biggest chance of the game because he doesn't
have a proper right foot. Cuadrado let off the hook in the final minute - a reckless challenge right on the edge of the penalty area, which the ref thought was not a foul, and VAR thought was just outside.
It's going to be a long second half.
Bayer - Roma 0-0 (agg: 0-1)

Honestly, I'd have given both penalties, Fagioli's handball too.More Sevilla pressure, and Rabiot misses another 1v1 at the other end. Di Maria absolutely awful.
It's going to be a long second half.
Elsewhere, Basel ties it up on the night, back in front on aggregate.

Quite easily defended, and Roma reach the final without having scored a single goal away from home
in the knock-out stages.

Yes, everybody is in awe of Guardiola's wonderteam, but he has a tendency to overthink things in finals, and Inter has been running on all cylinders in the last month or so. This smells a lot like an upset.

Yes, it's the Europa League, and everything goes the right way for Sevilla, including Lamela thumping headers. But you have Mourinho on the other end.

Inter just bagged the Coppa Italia by beating Fiorentina 2-1 in the
final. Two first half goals by Lautaro after they had fallen behind
in the 2nd minute.
They just cannot stop winning. Lautaro is in the best form of his
career, and Lukaku seems to have gone back to his 2020-2021 self.

Do you really think he is lazy? I think he has muscled up far too
much since his Everton days, and is now kind of lumbering, and takes
too long to get in motion. But I never felt his attitude looked
lazy. (unlike eg. Pogba or Balotelli)
