Notts County, over 20 points clear of the third place team in the National League of English football, won deserved promotion.
It needed a seventh minute of stoppage time goal in the semifinal to gain extra time, then a 120th minute goal to avoid penalties last week.
This week was the final for one playoff spot against Chesterfield. They needed an 87th minute goal to tie in regular time. Then gave up a goal three minutes into extra time, and scored a second equalizer three minutes after they changed ends again.
And then they won the penalty shootout lottery 4-3 to gain promotion to League Two.
