I realize this post is from 2002 which is quite a while ago but I just came across it searching for information about my father. The oldest parachute club is the one founded at University of Montana in 1958. My father, Errol "Pete" Harkness was one of
the founders. I'm sure this is no longer a subject you are pursuing and you may have already found this info but I wanted to pass it on just in case.
