• RIP Popeye

Received this in the email today...

"Doug 'Popeye' Frederick passed away on Sat 7/25 11:07p. He will be cremated, and he wanted his ashes spread over the Narrow gauge Railroad in Chama, NM he loved and has worked for, for years. 5 of his lifelong military friends were all there to see Fred
the weekend before. We came in from NH, Mass, Tx and NM. We all got to say our goodbyes to our friend. He was sometimes lucid, then out of it again. Occasionally we would get a glimpse of the old Fred. His Ranger buddy Kevin Robinson and his wife stayed
until the very end, saw him that late afternoon and are now handling all the end of life items. Fred was never alone long in the month before he died."

Hey Doug... Tell Airhog we still remember him...

Sad to see Doug go; Limey Dave posted the news on Facebook.
