Personally, I think they were better off separate.
A Cedar Fair property always did feel different than a Six Flags one, and that's
just fine. It's called COMPETITION.
I really thought it was SeaWorld who was going to finally merge with cedar fair (I know they’ve had some failed attempts the last few years, but I figured it would actually happen at some point soon). It’ll be interesting to see how this goes. I
doubt we’ll see any noticeable changes during the 2024 season.
I like both cedar fair and six flags for different reasons and really don’t see one chain as better than the other (just better in different ways).
