Trimper’s is pretty awesome. They also have that cool dark ride on the boardwalk and the Pirates Cove walk through fun house. Been a while since I’ve been back to Ocean City, MD, definitely a “best kept secret” location for good amusement rides (
and mini golf!).

I’m excited for Clementon, guessing the next few years will have some good announcements for new rides in that park.

Interesting. I’d guess at this point, they just haven’t decided what hours they will take on after Labor Day, perhaps only weekends afterwards this season. I doubt they’d close completely for the Halloween and winter season. Though with the strict
rules the state has given businesses this past year, I guess it’s not out of the question at this point. Remember, Ca is nearly a year behind the other states in reopening amusement parks, and many seasonal parks in other states did not open for
Halloween or winter events last year.

I didn’t know they ever closed for weather, either.

Honestly, in the ‘90s and after, none of the big parks ever did that I knew of. Any day it would be bad weather, we’d always drive all the way to Great Adventure or Dorney Park for a day of no crowds. Never closed early or anything, no matter how

Really hoping KBF (and SFMM and Universal) change their mind and return to year-round operations. I have a road trip to California planned for September, but it's tentative on those three parks being open.

They’re going seasonal? Really? I hadn’t heard that.

They haven't announced a change to going seasonal, but the operating schedules are showing being closed after Labor Day, so it's strongly implied.

Do you think it's likely that they AREN'T going seasonal, but merely haven't decided on off-season hours? AFAIK, they haven't made explicit announcements regarding post-Labor Day hours, so it feels like assuming either way would be just that -- an

assumption. But the evidence as it stands right now vis-a-vis their posted calendars would indicate closure, since Labor Day is less than 3 1/2 months away.

Interesting. I’d guess at this point, they just haven’t decided what hours they will take on after Labor Day, perhaps only weekends afterwards this season. I doubt they’d close completely for the Halloween and winter season. Though with the

strict rules the state has given businesses this past year, I guess it’s not out of the question at this point. Remember, Ca is nearly a year behind the other states in reopening amusement parks, and many seasonal parks in other states did not open for
Halloween or winter events last year.

Six Flags Magic Mountain is now showing as being open every day through the end of the year!

Knott's is still showing as closed after Labor Day, and Universal Studios Hollywood doesn't even have a calendar at all after July.

To fill all the jobs, they're gonna need to pull people like housewives and people who would otherwise go to colleges to service industry gigs like this. Those people, more often than not, will want regular human being hours so they can see their
families. But nothing makes sense right now in terms of what's being demanded. You have some politicians talking about how we need to make it so women can stay home and not participate in the workforce (of which they are about half of all employees)
while there's millions of unfilled positions in the US. I've never seen so many people with so much influence proclaim to be doing things for the economy without any basic and fundamental economics principles behind them.

evenings. So unfortunately that is when ride/game ops. need to be able to work.
Mainly eves. and weekends.

2. Women stay home: That's a reflection of a more conservative U.S. electorate.

I’d assume same. For Halloween horror nights at Universal, their wording on the tickets changed to “no costume masks” instead of “no masks” this year.

I’m hoping to go to Lake Catherine’s event this year and plan to wear my face covering mask.
