Tabulizer is not just a simple table generator. It uses the concept of rules where each rule corresponds to a different feature. By combining multiple rules you can have an unlimited number of end results. These rules do not affect only styling aspects,
but they can transform and format the table elements in many ways (e.g. calculations, replacements, text formats, row/column insertion and removal, etc). This, along with the use of user friendly wizards, makes the creation of really advanced tables and
graphs a process of few clicks[^2^].

How to Install Tabulizer?
To install Tabulizer on your Joomla site, you need to download the extension package from here. Then go to Extensions > Manage > Install and upload the package file. After the installation is complete, you will see a message that Tabulizer has been
successfully installed.

How to Create a Table with Tabulizer?
To create a table with Tabulizer, you need to go to Components > Tabulizer > Data Sources and click on New. You will see a list of data source types that you can choose from. For this example, we will use an Excel file as our data source.

Click on Excel File and then browse your computer to select the file that contains your data. You can also enter a URL if the file is hosted online. Then click on Next.

You will see a preview of your data and some options to adjust it. You can choose which sheet to use, which rows and columns to include or exclude, how to handle empty cells and more. When you are done, click on Next.

Now you will see a list of rules that you can apply to your table. Rules are divided into categories such as General Options, Table Styling Options, Cell Styling Options, Data Manipulation Options and more. You can click on each category to expand it and
see the available rules.



For example, if you want to make your table responsive, you can click on Responsive Design Options and select one of the six responsive design patterns that Tabulizer offers[^1^]. If you want to add sorting functionality to your table, you can click on
Table Sorting Options and enable it.

You can also add new rules by clicking on Add New Rule at the bottom of the page. You will see a pop-up window where you can select the rule type and enter the parameters. For example, if you want to add a calculation column that shows the sum of two
other columns, you can select Calculation Column as the rule type and enter the formula in the parameters field.

When you are satisfied with your rules, click on Next. You will see a preview of your table with all the applied rules. You can also edit or delete any rule by clicking on the pencil or trash icons next to it.

If everything looks good, click on Save & Close. You have just created your first table with Tabulizer!

How to Display a Table with Tabulizer?
To display a table with Tabulizer on your Joomla site, you need to go to Components > Tabulizer > Tables & Graphs and click on New. You will see a list of data sources that you have created before. Select the one that you want to use for your table and
click on Next.

You will see some options to customize your table output. You can choose whether to show or hide the table caption, header row, footer row and pagination controls. You
