Fort Myers Broadcasting is purchasing Soft AC Wave 101.1 WAVV Naples
Park/Fort Myers FL from Alpine Broadcasting Corporation for $8 million.
WAVV will join holdings that include AC 96.9 WINK-FM Fort Myers, Spanish Rhythmic 97.7 Latino WTLQ-FM Punta Rassa, and Spanish Tropical Maxima 95.7 W239CL Golden Gate/97.3 W247CR Pine Island Center/WTLQ-HD2. The company
also owns CBS affiliate WINK-TV.
Alpine Broadcasting also operates Call Communications Groups 107.9 W300EF Naples as Easy Listening Easy 107.9 fed via WAVV-HD2. The deal includes the transfer of the right to operate the translator through July 2026 with
three five year automatic renewals unless the tower lease is not renewed.

JVC Broadcasting is in the process of rebranding Oldies 98.1 W251BY Patchogue/WPTY-HD2 Calverton-Roanoke NY to Big 98.1.
The station is currently phasing in the new branding with both logos
appearing on the stations website and on-air imaging references both brands including some stating From this to this with jingles of both the old and
new brand heard. The station is retaining its Long Islands Greatest Hits positioning.
W251BY covers the central part of Long Island in western Suffolk County.

affiliates in Atlantic City, Bakersfield, Jacksonville, and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
The Radio Sharon Foundation operated Spanish CHR Play 93.9 W230AA/WSJO-HD2 Atlantic City NJ and Norsan Media Spanish Rhythmic Flow 105.3 WYKB
Fernandina Beach/Jacksonville FL will air Shoboy from 4-8pm. JAB
Broadcasting Spanish Rhythmic Kalor 104.3 KBQF McFarland/Bakersfield adds
the show for mornings from 6-10am. New England Spanish Radio operated
Spanish CHR La Mega 95 94.9 W235DC Dickson City/Scranton, 95.3 W237DP
Mountain Top/Wilkes-Barre, and WGGY-HD2 will carry the show from 8am to
12pm.

Starting in August 2020, the Shoboy Show launched in McAllen, TX (KKPS 99.5 FM), Sacramento, CA (KHHM 101.9 FM) and Stockton-Modesto, CA (KCVR 98.9
FM); followed by Albuquerque, New Mexico (KJFA 102.9 AM-FM) in October and

KHTK Rebrands As Sactown Sports

After recently rebranding 710 ESPN KIRO Seattle as Seattle Sports 710, Bonneville is making a similar change in Sacramento as Sports 1140 KHTK is
now Sactown Sports 1140.
KHTK will continue to feature Carmichael Dave and Jason Ross in mornings
from 6-9am, while Ramie Makhlouf joins the station to team with Nick
Cattles in afternoons. Makhlouf joins the station from the same timeslot at Audacys 1250 The Fan WSSP Milwaukee. Makhlouf was on his second stint at
WSSP rejoining in 2020 after an 18 month run in afternoons at Hubbards Skor North KSTP Minneapolis.
KHTK also carries Sacramento Kings basketball, Las Vegas Raiders football,
and Oakland A’s baseball.
Bonneville Sacramento announced that Sports 1140 KHTK is now Sactown Sports.
The flagship station of the Sacramento Kings will still feature the same
great insider content and programming, now with a new name showcasing the commitment to the best in local Northern California Sports.
Sactown Sports is live on the air at 1140 AM, online at SactownSports.com,
and streaming on the go with the Sactown Sports app.

Allan Camp To Retire As WRCH PD/Morning Host After 33 Years

After 33 years as Program Director and morning host at Audacy AC Lite 100.5 WRCH New Britain/Hartford CT, Allan Camp will retire at the end of the
month ending a 47 year radio career.
Camp has been with WRCH in the dual role since 1989. He originally worked
in Hartford as Production Director and afternoon host at 1360 WDRC/102.9 WDRC-FM from 1987 until joining WRCH. He has also worked at stations in Providence, Cape Cod, and his native Vermont during his career.
Longtime co-hosts Mike Stacy and Mary Scanlon will continue in morning slot
at WRCH. Stacy has been Promotions Director and part of the WRCH morning
show since 1991, while Scanlon joined in 2013 following stints at WCCC-FM Hartford, WKCI New Haven, and WRKI Danbury CT.
