WVHT Norfolk Stunting Ahead Of Vibe Launch

Max Media will be launching 100.5 The Vibe on what was CHR Hot 100 WVHT Norfolk.

After we first indicated the flip was coming this morning in our Domain
Insight report, WVHT began stunting at 6pm with a loop of Q-Tips Vivrant
Thing. Sweepers between the loop brand the station with its new 100.5 The
Vibe identity.

The move will position the station against either Audacys market leading RB 95.7 WVKL or iHeartMedia Hip Hop 103 Jamz WOWI. The timing of the stunting would appear to lead to a launch around the Juneteenth holiday on Sunday or Monday.

The move marks the end of the thirteen year-old CHR brand after launching
in April 2009. WVHT had a 2.8 share in the May 2022 Nielsen Audio ratings
tying with Audacys competing Z104 WNVZ.

Beasley To Launch 102.7 VGS & Move Coyote Country In Las Vegas With
Multiple Talent Additions

Beasley Media Group will relaunch two of its Las Vegas stations on Friday,
June 24 at 10am.

Hot AC Star 107.9 KVGS Meadview AZ will become 102.7 VGS. Shawn Tempesta, former APD/afternoon host at Audacy Hot AC Mix 94.1 KMXB will join the
station to host mornings with Aimee Thomas, who moves from the same slot at 102.7 Coyote Country KCYE Boulder City. Tempesta exited KMXB after ten
years at the end of 2021. Sammi Reeves joins as afternoon host.

The Country brand will move from 102.7 to 107.9 with PD/Midday host Shawn Stevens moving to mornings. Paul Knight will return to the station as
midday host. This will be Knights third stint at the station after
previously hosting nights from 2010-2015 and then middays from 2017-2020. Ransom Garcia will remain in afternoons.

107.9 KVGS was thirteenth in the May 2022 Nielsen Audio ratings with a 3.0 share trailing KMXBs third ranked 6.6. KCYE was fourteenth with a 2.9 share trailing iHeartMedias 95.5 The Bull KWNRs 3.4.

Beasley Media Group announces the company will officially swap 102.7 Coyote Country/KCYE-FM from its current frequency position of 102.7FM with sister station, Star 107.9 KVGS-FM. The new changes will go into effect on Friday, June 24, 2022, at 10am.

On Monday June 27th, Shawn Tempesta, along with his Co-host, Aimee Thomas (former Morning Co-host on KCYE-FM) will be heard during morning drive and Sammi Reeves will take over afternoons on Star 107.9.

In addition, Program Director and On Air Personality Shawn Stevens will
move from middays to mornings on KCYE 107.9 and Paul Knight will return to
take over middays, while Ransom Garcia will remain on the air during afternoons.
