Alexander Vera was caught on camera punching KERN-AM Bakersfield host Ralph Bailey, breaking his jaw. On Tuesday Vera pleaded no contest to felony
assault and now faces two years in prison when sentenced in August.

Costa Media Boston is purchasing WFAX-AM, which is licensed to Fairfax, VA,
and its FM translator W264BD, from Newcomb Broadcasting Corporation. The
sale price is $800,000.

KQED has hired Madi Bolaños as co-host of its premier statewide daily radio news program 'The California Report'. Bolaños comes from public media
