Club Programme running up to Easter and April.

Just a short note to say that there is no Club meeting this Monday night,
29th March, as its a MKARS Committee meeting . There is also no meeting on Monday April 5th as it is Easter Monday. There will also be no Coffee Chat
on Friday 2nd April as it is Good Friday.
The next Club meeting is Monday April 12th where are very fortunate to have internationally recognised Carl Luetzelschwab, K9LA talk to us about Solar Cycle 25 Predictions and Progress. Carl will be joining us on Zoom from the
US. Once again further details will follow, but mark this for your calendar
as it will be a talk not to be missed.
We have a full Zoom programme planned for April and May and we have further talks arranged on the new Ofcom EMF licence requirements and also VHF/UHF hunting using Airscout and ON4KST. We also going to try to have a special interest group session on digital modes.
Like all of us we are unsure when the COVID restrictions will be lifted to restart our face to face Club meetings at the Irish Club. No sooner do we
get light at the end of the tunnel that someone or something turns the
light out. It was very disappointing this week to see that Friedrischafen
has been cancelled this year, but understandable. We will be deciding what
we do this year regarding the MKARS rally shortly.
Ill provide a fuller update in the next week or so.
    Keep safe and well,

    Phil G4FVZ, Chair 2020/21
