TuneIn Hires Tom Fuelling as CFO

This week, TuneIn announced a new chief financial officer. The live
streaming audio service has appointed Tom Fuelling to the role.
With over 25 years of experience working for media and technology companies including leading players in video streaming and music, Fuelling will be a strong addition to the already robust executive team, said TuneIn in a
company press release.
He succeeds Mark Vranesh, who served as the interim CFO from January 2020
to July 2020.


TuneIn CEO Richard Stern said Fuellings experience scaling global media businesses that consumers love is unparalleled.
“Working in a competitive landscape, TuneIn has emerged as a leader in live audio streaming and we look forward to working with Tom as he’ll help us sustain and maintain our growth both domestically and abroad,” said Stern. Prior to joining TuneIn, Fuelling served as CFO for Hulu, OpenX, ARTISTdirectand most recently, Spokeo, Inc., among others.

Following the announcement, Fuelling said he looks forward to supporting TuneIns current momentum.
“I enjoy working at companies that are in a building mode and looking to scale, and I have always been attracted to businesses like TuneIn that are innovating on behalf of the consumer, he said. With a professional
background in the music and video spaces, moving to audio seems natural to me.”

According to the company, Fuelling began listening to TuneIn more than five years ago and closely follows the digital media space.
He is a big consumer of audio content and is looking forward to combining a personal interest with his professional work, it said.

EMF Promotes Ed Lenane to VP of Programming Operations

Educational Media Foundation (EMF) has promoted Ed Lenane to vice president
of programming operations, effective immediately.

Having first joined EMF in 1977 as local program manager, Lenane now
oversees the news, regional public affairs, audio production, board
operations and traffic teams for the K-LOVE and Air1 radio networks.

An industry veteran, his radio career spans four decades to include roles
in operations and programming as well as on-air roles in music and news formats.

“Ed’s broadcast and programming knowledge are critical to our success, and his kindness, deep faith, dependability and humility make him a pleasure to work alongside,” said Mandy Young, EMF radio group program director.

Lenane will continue to report to Jim Houser, chief content officer at EMF.

“Ed was one of the early pioneers that launched the format of Christian hit music on radio,” said Houser. “We’re fortunate to learn from his extensive
experience in the industry.”

Educational Media Foundation began as a single, nonprofit radio station in
1982 and is now the parent company to K-LOVE and Air1 – the nation’s largest Christian music radio networks.
