Saga Q1 Revenue Increses 12%

Saga Communications, which owns 113 radio stations and 80 translators
reported Q1 earnings of $25 million Thursday, an increase over Q1 of 2021
of 12%. Local radio revenue was $12.4 million, making up 50% of the total revenue for the company.

SoundExchange and VEVA Sound have created a partnership designed to
increase the accuracy and efficiency of royalty payments. Using cloud-based technology the partnership will make it easier for creators registered with SoundExchange to receive the royalties to which they are entitled.

David Shantz is the new Director of Engineering for Family Radio. Shantz
joins Family Radio from Burk Technology where he was Product Manager. He
will oversee more than 65 Family Radio sites across the country.

Lazer 99.3 98.5 (WLZX FM) will debut Toucher Rich on May 9th. The show
has been regionally syndicated since October 2021 and originates from
WBZ-FM in Boston.

GEICO with the 2022 Corporate Leadership Award during the 2022 Celebration

Facebook Officially Exits Podcasting
