K-Love KLVE from 2003 to 2021. The new show will be offered in syndication
    via SBS Aire Radio Networks.

The couple will replace Reyna Franco and Ernesto Smoochy Martinez in
mornings. Their status with the company is unknown at this time.

Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. and Mega 96.3 FM today announced El Show
de Omar y Argelia will be broadcast live on Mega 96.3 KXOL weekday mornings from 6:00 am PT to 10:00 am PT. offered unique and honest on-air conversations that listeners love. Every weekday morning, hundreds of thousands of listeners tune in to hear Omar
and Argelia openly share their life moments – the funny, the challenging,
the joyous – as if they were chatting with their best friends. Mixed in
with this compelling and open dialogue is commentary on current events, politics and social issues, popular music and celebrity gossip. Along with sharing their personal day-to-day details, Omar and Argelia share an
immigrant tale of hard work and cultural blending, of professional success
    and community advocacy.

Omar and Argelia have forged deep connections with their listeners as they share, entertain and inform through compelling dialogue and a format
unmatched in radio, said Albert Rodriguez, President of SBS. Over their
storied careers, Omar and Argelia have successfully mixed their personal
life stories with broader social commentary and delivered a highly engaged audience. They both bring a consistent energy and passion to deliver
fantastic entertainment and information to the Hispanic community in Los Angeles. As morning radio hosts, Omar and Argelia have delivered the #1

Adam The Bull To Depart 92.3 The Fan Cleveland

    Posted: 21 Mar 2022 02:46 PM PDT https://radioinsight.com/headlines/221604/adam-the-bull-to-depart-92-3-the-fan-cleveland/

After co-hosting afternoons at Audacy Sports 92.3 The Fan WKRK-FM Cleveland Heights OH since its launch in August 2011, Adam The Bull Gerstenhaber announced today he will be leaving the station on April 1.

Prior to joining WKRK, Gerstenhaber was a fill-in/swing shift host at WFAN
New York and programmed and hosted at Clear Channels The Sports Stars
network of AMs based in Utica NY. He also hosted a weekend show for CBS
Sports Radio from 2013 to 2018.

In an interview with Cleveland Scene, he explained his reasons for leaving
as I just felt like I needed a change and I want to do something different.
I may even delve into other things, maybe politics, maybe talking about
being a man with weight issues, branching out to other things. Now was the
time but nothing specific beyond I thought it would be a better time for
the station than in the summer and right before football season. Im leaving
the station on great terms and I wanted them to be able to have time to
find someone. I want them to be in good shape going into football season.

WKRK-FM has yet to announce its plans for the afternoon slot.

FCC To Hold License Revocation Hearing Against Knoxville Area AM

    Posted: 21 Mar 2022 06:57 AM PDT https://radioinsight.com/headlines/221558/fcc-to-hold-license-revocation-hearing-against-knoxville-area-am/

The FCC is opening a proceeding as to whether the license of Arm Rage LLC
Hip Hop/RB Jammin 99.7 1040 WJBE Powell TN should be revoked following the felony conviction of is sole owner Joseph Armstrong.

Armstrong was convicted on August 8, 2016 on one felony count of fraud and false statements for filing a false federal income tax return. Armstrong, a member of Tennessees House of Representatives from 1988 until just after
his conviction, had purchased cigarette tax stamps in 2007 and sold them at
a profit of approximately $330,000 following the legislature’s increase in the state’s cigarette tax, but did not include the profit on his federal
2008 individual income tax return. He was sentenced to three years
probation, six months house arrest, 300 hours community service, pay
    $99,943 in restitution and a $40,000 fine.

The FCC states that Arm Rage was required to report the conviction as an adverse finding by April 1, 2017 but did not do so until April 14. It also submitted the same document on its 2020 license renewal to explain its
answer of no to the question of whether there had been no adverse findings bearing on the character qualifications of AR and its principal. The agency states it also responded no to whether it had timely uploaded its biennial ownership reports or issues/programs lists as required.

In sending the station to a renewal hearing, the FCC states, The felony of which Armstrong was convicted—fraud and false statements—is centered upon criminally dishonest conduct. Armstrong directed that dishonesty at a
federal agency by making false statements on a federal tax form. His
omission of material financial information (a large profit), resulted in substantial inaccuracy of information that he was federally required to
report (total income on which tax liability is based). In light of Armstrong’s past willingness to conceal information from another federal agency in violation of the law, we are unable to conclude on the record
before us that Armstrong’s criminal convictions are not disqualifying. In addition, AR’s late reporting of Armstrong’s conviction to the Commission, along with its self-reported and purportedly inadvertent failure to file ownership reports and to upload issues/programs lists between 2018 and
2020, when considered along with the felony, heighten our concern as to
whether we can rely upon AR to provide complete and accurate information to
the Commission. Because Armstrong’s conviction, separately, and together
with AR’s admitted rule violations, raises questions under the Commission’s Character Qualifications Policy Statement, we designate for hearing
appropriate issues to determine whether Armstrong, and by extension, AR, possess the requisite character qualifications to remain a Commission
licensee and whether the Commission should revoke the license for WJBE(AM).
