    KNBR Fires Two Long-Time Hosts

    Tom Tolbert tweeted the news that both Larry Krueger and Rod Brooks are no longer working for KNBR, Both had been co-hosting the show with Tolbert
    since 2019 and had been with the station since the 90s. KNBR is owned by Cumulus.

    Big Money Raised For Tonga

    South Seas Broadcasting’s 3 stations in American Samoa recently held a week-long Tonga Relief Drive, including a radiothon, for folks in the
    nearby Pacific nation of Tonga.  Tonga was devastated by a volcanic
    eruption and tsunami in January.  A total of over $250,000 was raised to assist with recovery efforts.

    Rascoe Named Host of Weekend Edition

    NPR has selected Ayesha Rascoe to host its Sunday morning edition of
    Weekend Edition Sunday, which is heard on 794 public radio stations. Before joining NPR, Rascoe worked for Reuters.
