Michigan Radios Stephen Schram Retiring

Schram is the Executive Director General Manager of Michigan Radio. He'll
last day on the job will be November 30th. Schram was personally recruited
by University of Michigan President Mary Sue Coleman in 2006.

IBA Announces 5th National Cash Contest

The contest will begin September 15th, according to IBA President Ron
Stone. So far over $180,000 has been given away during the previous four contests. The deadline to register for the Fall contest is August 15th and
you must be a member station to take part.

Cox Media Group Jacksonville has promoted WOKV’s Hannah Guile to Executive Producer of the syndicated “Mark Kaye Show.” Hannah has been with CMG Jacksonville since 2018, joining the cast of the show in 2019.

49 State Associations Oppose Zonecasting

In a letter to The FCC, 49 State Broadcasters Associations have come out in opposition of a potential rule change, proposed by GeoBoradcast Solutions,

service to consumers than the radio industry has. Yesterday this SiriusXM marketing e-mail was sent out to consumers taking a direct shot at all of
