WSGW Operations Manager Dave Maurer is being inducted into the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame. Dave began his radio career
in1967 as an announcer with WIDG Radio in St. Ignace.

Social Media is buzzing with praise for one of the industry's best
programmers who passed away at the age of 92. Perhaps, Robby Bridges said
it best, "On the Mt Rushmore of radio program directors." Guy Zapolean
called him "One of the most creative minds ever." Charlie Van Dyke posted Blore's passing on Facebook where a lot of the industry is remembering
Blore.
