    Jefferson Ward, WZBA-FM Baltimore GM will retire after 45 years in the business. The Times-Shamrock Communications station is now looking for a replacement.

    Cumulus Adds Content to Audacy App

    The two radio companies announced on Wednesday that all 413 Cumulus radio stations and its entire portfolio of podcasts can now also be heard on the Audacy app. Cumulus does not have a stand-alone app like Audacy or the iHeartRadio app.

    2021 NAB Show Canceled

    The NAB announced Wednesday morning that it has made the "difficult
    decision" to cancel the 2021 NAB Show amid concerns "related to the global pandemic and the surge caused by the Delta variant." NAB President/CEO
    Gordon Smith said, "It is with a heavy heart that I share with you that we
    will not hold the NAB Show in person this year as originally planned."

    WKSU Merging With Ideastream Public Media

    The Kent State University Board of Trustees has voted to approve a merger
    of WKSU 89.7 with Cleveland based Ideastream Public Media. The agreement
    takes effect October 1.
