    St. Barnabas Broadcasting Expands In Pittsburgh Area

    St. Barnabas Broadcasting, which entered the radio industry with the
    purchase of Conservative Talk 1320 WJAS/99.1 W256DE Pittsburgh last year,
    is acquiring two more stations in Western Pennsylvania.

    St. Barnabas Broadcasting will acquire Conservative Talk simulcast Beaver County Radio 1230 WBVP/99.3 W257EA Beaver Falls and 1460 WMBA Ambridge
    (with CP for 95.7 W239CR Beaver Falls) from Mark Petersons Sound Ideas
    Media for $2.33 million. Both stations serve the northwest suburbs of Pittsburgh.

    A subsidiary of non-profit nursing home operator St. Barnabas Health
    System, the buyer intends to retain the programming of the station and all
    of its employees including Peterson.

    Fox Sports Radio Moves In Tulsa

    Premiere Networks has announced that Griffin Communications newly launched Sports The Blitz 1170 KTSB (formerly KFAQ) Tulsa will assume the Fox Sports Radio network affiliation in the market.

    KTSB will air Fox Sports Radio programming from 7pm to 6am weekdays and
    24/7 on weekends. Shows to be carried include Outkick The Coverage, The Odd Couple with Chris Broussard Rob Parker, The Jason Smith Show with Mike
    Harmon and The Ben Maller Show.

    Fox Sports Radio had been heard in the market on iHeartMedias 1430 The Buzz KTBZ Tulsa, which had been running the network around the clock daily. The station continues airing the network, but a change could be forthcoming.

    Griffin Broadcasting’s new all-sports station The Blitz 1170 AM (KTSB-AM) announced today that FOX Sports Radio will join the lineup for its debut
    today, September 7. FOX Sports Radio’s industry-leading programming will
    air from 7 p.m. – 6 a.m. on weeknights, and 24/7 on weekends.

    Among the weekday additions from FOX Sports Radio are

    “We’re excited to launch a station with great local personalities combined with the excellent resources of FOX Sports Radio,” said Jeremie Poplin, The Blitz 1170 AM Program Director. “We could not have asked for a better partnership.”

    DJ Prostyle To Move From Power 105.1 New York To Roles In Multiple Florida Markets

    After ten years as Music Director, midday host and mixer for iHeartMedia
    Hip Hop Power 105.1 WWPR-FM New York, DJ Prostyle is relocating to Tampa to take on a multi-market role with the company.

    Prostyle will host afternoons on Hip Hop 95.7 The Beat WBTP Tampa and
    nights on 104.5 The Beat W283AN Altamonte Springs/Orlando and WTKS-HD2. He
    will also mix for select iHeartMedia Hip Hop and Spanish CHR stations in
    Miami, Orlando, Tampa, West Palm Beach, Jacksonville, Fort Myers and Tallahassee.

    Prior to joining WWPR-FM in 2010, Prostyle previously worked at Power 95.3
    WPYO and 102 Jamz WJHM in the Orlando market. He also has served as a host
    and mixer for BET.

    Prostyle will also continue his duties at WWPR-FM until a replacement is
    named.

    iHeartMedia’s Florida Division announced today that top-rated DJ and on-air personality PROSTYLE will make his return to the Florida airwaves.
    PROSTYLE will broadcast afternoons on 95.7 WBTP in Tampa and nights on
    104.5 The Beat in Orlando.

    PROSTYLE, one of the countrys most famous club DJs, began his career in Orlando, Florida, at WJHM and WPYO. The Queens-born-Orlando-raised DJ then

    Robert 'Woody' Nelson Returns To Cumulus Minneapolis As Creative Imaging Director & KQRS Midday Host

    After a brief stint as Production Director at Audacy Minneapolis, Robert
    Woody Nelson is returning to Cumulus Minneapolis in the dual role of midday host at Classic Rock 92.5 KQRS and Creative Imaging Director for KQRS and
    Rock 93X KXXR.

    Nelson previously served as Production Director and evening host at KXXR
    from 2011 until last year. He had joined Audacy this past July and has also held roles in voiceover and podcast production during his career.

    Jay Philpott, who had been serving as midday host at KQRS, continues as
    Program Director and afternoon host at Soft AC trimulcast Love 105 105.1
    WGVX Lakeville, 105.3 WLUP Cambridge, and 105.7 WWWM-FM Eden Prairie.

    Blair Davis Joins WDRM As Morning Co-Host

    iHeartMedia Country 102.1 WDRM Huntsville AL has announced the appointment
    of Blair Davis as morning co-host alongside Brent ‘Dingo’ Crank.

    Davis joins WDRM from NCA Inc.s crosstown Hot AC Mix 96.9 WRSA-FM where she served as Marketing Director, Social Media Director and midday host since
    2014. Before that she served as an intern at WDRM. She fills the opening created by the departure of Josie Lane earlier this year.

    102.1 WDRM, Huntsville’s Number One for New Country, announced today that On-air Personality Blair Davis will the “WDRM Morning Show” as a co-host alongside Dingo. The show will broadcast weekdays from 5 –10 am.

    Amy Miller To Step Down As KKXT Program Director

    North Texas Public Broadcasting AAA 91.7 KXT KKXT Dallas will soon be on
    the hunt for a new Program Director as Amy Miller will step down on
    September 17.

    Miller will at first remain with the station in a part-time role continuing
    as midday host while seeking to find a new opportunity in the music
    industry. Miller joined KKXT in 2014 as APD/MD and rose to Program Director
    in 2015. Prior to joining the station, Miller programmed AAA 92.3 The Tide
    WTYD Deltaville VA, served as a programming assistant at KFOG San
    Francisco, and worked as a music publicist.

    Weekend host Nilufer Arsala will succeed Miller as host of the KXT Local
    Show that airs on Thursdays from 7-8pm.
